Chesterton Quote for Today

I was having a bad day with a really idiotic teacher who reminded me why 'higher education' is meaningless really. Anyway, Old Gilbert always reminds me of the classic common sense of Thomistic realism, and practical English wit and wisdom.

"Men invent new ideals because they dare not attempt old ideals. They look forward with enthusiasm, because they are afraid to look back." - What's Wrong With the World

  1. What the world needs most is the "instaurare omnia in Christo": until that restoration is accomplished, those who have forgotten the lessons of history are condemned to repeat them. Our Lady will help us. Happy feast day and remember: "Ex fide fortis", Andrew!
